Once my favorite Italian restaurant in the Catskills, they expanded over the past decade with stitched on additions to the restaurant but the food and service seems to have suffered. I'm ok with the prices going up, its only normal but I used to get a plate of eggplant Parmesan with home made pasta on a plate the size of a spare tire, now it's more of a football size plate with store bought pasta but still that homemade sauce. Double the price, although still relatively cheap.
Best garlic knots around and for cheap! Servers are friendly. Prices are good.
Food was pretty good. Took a very long time to get our food even the app. When we arrived it was not very busy it got busy while we were there since it took almost two hours to get our food and check.
I love these people.. best Italian food anywhere.. ever... Treated like family from the moment in the door. Cant say enough... Great service for larger groups too.. Friend had a baby shower there.. they took awesome care of us. Great prices too... Go there.. you will love it...
The last time we went, it took a good 45 minutes for the salad to come out. Another 45 minutes for the 8 dinners to come out 2 at a time with a long pause between them...ended up getting 7 of 8 because the waitress forgot to place an order. That person (me) had to wait another 20 minutes for his dinner while the rest of the table tried to be nice and eat slowly. It was probably an off night where they were short in the kitchen or something but come on, in a situation like that the missing dinner goes to the head of the queue and you put it out in 5 minutes. I'm giving it 4 stars because the food is still good and the garlic knots...worth the trip just for them!
